These terms and conditions might be changed occasionally and apply to all of our services.

When accessing, browsing, using and/or making a reservation through our website on your computer or mobile, you approve and agree to the terms and conditions below.

Futurismo is a tour operator offering a variety of adventure tours and exciting experiences in the Azores.

Bookings can be made directly through Futurismo’s shop and on the websites our two sub-brands Futurismo Azores Adventures and Futurismo Whale Watching Azores.

If you are having any problem booking through Futurismo’s Azores Adventures website – www.futurismo.pt – please contact our Customer Support Team.

Due to poor weather or other related conditions, Futurismo reserves the right to change itineraries or timetables if necessary.

In case of flight delays, changes and or cancellations, injuries, weather, natural disasters and/or other unforeseeable matters Futurismo will not to be responsible for expenses and other related costs.

Our customers are responsible for giving Futurismo the correct contact information in order to be able to inform you about any change on your reservation.

1. Futurismo Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy FIT:

• Cancellations up to 72 hours before the tour, no penalties applied.
• Cancellations up to 48 hours: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
• Cancellations less than 24 hours or no-show: full amount will be charged.
• Cancellations up to 24 hours: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
• Cancelations less than 24 hours or no-show: full amount will be charged.

In case there’s no sights of cetacean (whales and dolphins) in the Whale Watching activity Futurismo offers a 2nd trip free of charge.

In case there’s no sights of dolphins, in the Swimming with Dolphins’ activity, Futurismo offers a 2nd trip free of charge.

 

2. Azores weather and conditions:

The weather or sea conditions may restrict the activities.

In case of cancellation, the activities will be rescheduled for another day. In case of unavailability of the customer on the offered date, the activity will not be charged to the agency/client.

Whale Watching reservations will be made in our Catamaran. Please inform us if you prefer to go on a zodiac boat.

 

3. Pick up & drop off Services

Not included in the sea activities.

Included in the land activities at the customer’s hotel in Ponta Delgada or at a nearby location. Transfers to/from other locations on request.

 

4. Prices

Please note that the prices displayed on our websites for our services are in the company’s local currency (€uros). As a local operator, Futurismo is not responsible for currency fluctuations or additional fees outside its control, such as bank transfer fees, credit card fees, etc.

 

5. Special offers & Promotional codes

Please note that special offers like promotional codes can only be applied to a reservation before the booking is made. When there is a promotional code, it should be entered into the matching field on the reservation page, in order to be valid and applied.

 

6. Minimum of participants, Ages and Meals

Minimum of participants on land experiences: 2 people when integrated in the regular activity schedule, otherwise on request.

Valid in all the activities except the whale watching tours. For a whale watching tour, the minimum of participants is 4 people.

• Ages

Babies: 0 – 5 years old free of charge

Children: 6 – 12 years old

Adults: from 13 years upwards

Please note, children must know how to swim autonomously and feel comfortable snorkeling in open sea to swim with dolphins.

• Meals

Lunch: starter, main dish, dessert, drink, coffee or tea.

Picnic: sandwich, cupcake or cereal bar, fruit, water and juice.

Sunset Cruise: Light meal aboard with regional wines and juices.

Vegetarian: vegetarian meals on request within a maximum of 48 hours before the tour.
