Fajã de Lopo Vaz

This charming natural ‘platform’ by the ocean is a well hidden gem. Discover black sand beaches and geological formations due to former eruptions. To explore this place deeper, take the trail of about 3.5km (2 hours).

Fajã Grande and Fajãzinha

Those are small villages on lava, located between high green cliffs and the blue Atlantic Ocean. They are definitely one of the most beautiful coastal landscapes in the Azores archipelago.

Lagoa das Patas
