Futurismo Yatch Charters
We started as a sailing company aiming to connect the islands with tourism experiences

1st Whale Watching operator in São Miguel island
In 1994, we started operating Whale Watching on the North Coast of São Miguel

Pico island operation
We decided to start organizing land activities and opened our office in Pico Island

In 2011, we took a huge step ahead by buying a Catamaran (increasing our capacity and diversifying our offer)

In 2011, the brand “Futurismo Azores Adventures” is born. And we started selling adventure packages in a customized way and for small groups

Rodrigues family buys the company back

A remarkable year for the Azorean tourism
2019 was an incredible year for the Azorean tourism. And was the most successful year ever for Futurismo as well. At the same time, we opened new offices and facilities in Pico Island, implemented new management softwares and workflows and reinforced our team.
