This hiking tour will show you different waterfalls, and even one where you can go behind!

This trails shows some old ruins of levadas (irrigation channel or aqueduct specific to the Portuguese Atlantic region), as well as watermills.

We have a wide variety of trails available with different levels so that no one is left behind!

Discover some ancient water mill ruins and the waterfall of Ribeira Funda.

When you go up, you can see the North coast of São Miguel but also the volcanic complex of Sete Cidades in the West and Ponta dos Fenais da Ajuda in the other direction.

On this trail, it is possible to see several birds such as Kites (Buteo buteo rothschildi), Common blackbirds (Turdus merula) and many other ones.

You will have good view of the ocean during this trail, look up, sometimes dolphins can swim close to the coast.

This is not for regular visitors who will pass in front of this hike without knowing that there is so much beauty to see when you walk a bit.

It is possible to observe many endemic flora species on this hike.

Deep inside the woods, between very dense and beautiful vegetation… This is one of those trails in which you can feel all the green nature around you!
